1.
Patatas
bravas: This classic Spanish snack is super easy to make. Cut potatoes into
cubes of 2 to 3 inches in size. Fry them in oil till golden and crispy. Drain
them on a paper towel. In the meantime, prepare the sauce by heating oil in a
pan and adding a small quantity of flour to it. Keep stirring to thicken the
paste and then add the tomato chilli sauce. Season as per taste. Then toss the
fried potatoes in the sauce and serve.
2.
Quick stir
fry: A stir fry, with vegetables, meats and/or seafood is a classic dish in
many Asian countries, particularly in the South East region. And you can
upgrade the flavour with the addition of some spicy sweet tomato chilli sauce.
All you need to do is to toss your favourite combination of vegetables, meat
and seafood in a sauce made by sauteing some garlic in oil, then adding the
tomato chilli sauce with some sugar, pepper, salt, stock or water, and
cornflour. Combine over the heat and serve.
3.
Belgian
fries: Unlike classic French fries, Belgian fries get their distinction from
being double fried, which makes them crunchier and crisper on the outside and
soft on the inside. Prepare a topping for them with some grated cheese of your
choice tossed in tomato chilli sauce and spread this over the fries. Bake till
the cheese is melted and enjoy.
4.
Ketchup
spaghetti: Italians love their pasta and spaghetti is one of the popular pasta
dishes for sure. But if you are not in the mood to make a complicated pasta
sauce, a simple substitute is the tomato chilli sauce. Boil the spaghetti and
set aside. In a pan, saute onions and bell peppers lightly in butter and then
add the tomato chilli sauce. Add some water to make a slightly thin sauce and
then toss the spaghetti. Serve with fried egg.
